I would like to take this time to welcome all students and parents to Clinton High School. I am a Red Tornado tried and true, having been at CHS in the capacity of student, teacher, coach, assistant principal and now principal. I graduated from Clinton High School in 1973 and attended Oklahoma State University and graduated with a bachelors in physical education. I earned my masters in Administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2006. I started my teaching and coaching career at Clinton Junior High in 1978, teaching American History. During my 35 years I have taught and coached at Marlow, Calumet, Lexington and three times at Clinton. I have served as head wrestling coach for 28 years and also coached football, baseball, golf and cross country & track.
In 1981 I married Carolyn Moore, from Comanche, Oklahoma and have spent 35 wonderful years together. We have been blessed with two children.
Our daughter Megan is a 2004 Clinton graduate, and earned her bachelor degree in Kinesiology from ECU in 2008. She is married and presently teaches and coaches in the Ada School System.
Ryan is a 2010 Red Tornado Graduate & also a 2014 SWOSU Bulldog Graduate. He also holds a Masters in Sports Managment. He is the QB coach for McGuinness High School.
Our family enjoys sports, spending time together and traveling. Our favorite traveling spot is Walt Disney World.
I look forward to working with the students, parents and staff at Clinton High school. It is a tremendous opportunity to have a chance to impact today's students and help them prepare to become productive citizens in our community. The town of Clinton has truly been a blessing for me and my family and I LOVE the Red Tornadoes.
IT IS A GREAT DAY TO BE A RED TORNADO!
